Summary

The No. 1 New York Times best seller!

How far will Stephanie Plum go to protect the one person who means the most to her? The stakes have never been higher in this unstoppable thriller from Janet Evanovich.

This isn't just another case. This is family.

Grandma Mazur has decided to get married again - this time to a local gangster named Jimmy Rosolli. If Stephanie has her doubts about this marriage, she doesn't have to worry for long, because the groom drops dead of a heart attack 45 minutes after saying, 'I do.'

A sad day for Grandma Mazur turns into something far more dangerous when Jimmy's former 'business partners' are convinced that his new widow is keeping the keys to a financial windfall all to herself. But the one thing these wise guys didn't count on was the widow's bounty hunter granddaughter, who'll do anything to save her.

Stephanie is back, and her grandma too!

Stephanie is very worried about her grandma since she is being targeted by the local mafia and by the family of her late husband. At the same time she is depressed about her work and the lack of commitment in her life, which is an interesting twist. Lula is always awesome and I enjoyed this story very much.

Another great entry in the series.

I've got and have read all the Plum books. This feels more grown up and emotional than the previous books and that's a good thing. Characters do have to develop a little over time, even if they barely age!

I always look forward to the next book and this was not a disappointment.

Lorelei reads it wonderfully as always.

Sober story but still laugh out loud funny!

Some of the reviews for this say that it’s not up to the usual standards. I believe that they may be book reviews - not audio reviews!

This is a sober story, because it’s close to home! So it shouldn’t be slapstick but it can’t help but be hilarious because - Lula!!!!!

Grandma Mazur has to be more sober because she’s the widow, but she’s also Grandma Mazur!!! So every scene with her can’t be hilarious, but she still has a coffin lid, a heavy bag and her gun! You can’t top those!

It was great to see Mr & Mrs Plum have some great speaking parts (and an iron)! It was all pure fun.

The advantage that we have over the print reviews is: Lorelei King! She delivers 100% as usual! Every. Single. Character has his or her distinct voice - no exceptions! It is a real joy to listen to her narrating Stephanie’s adventures, because she doesn’t! We’re there living it with them. There is no narrator!

Grandma Mazur Fortune and Glory

Jimmy Rizzoli marries Stephanie’s Grandma, 45 minutes later his dead. Here starts the story of the missing keys. This is all I will say regarding the action and mystery in this one, just know that Grandma is a big part of it.
