Perfectly Captures Old School Wresting Nostalgia
This was a really fun story. Anybody who grew up watching wrestling will enjoy this. Definitely brought back the memories of sitting on the couch with my dad watching the legends battle it out in the ring. This story did a good job of brining back those feelings while providing a funny and well told story as well. I liked how Terry combined a demon horror story with wrestling and he pulled it off perfectly.
I really liked the world that Terry created. The role that the demons play was interesting and I like how a young demon wanting to be a wrestler turned into Hell wanting to get into the wresting world. The characters were great and I definitely felt like they belonged in world Terry created. Tojo’s development throughout the story was solid and as a demon, he was a really great guy who I would have loved to watch in the ring. Liked the Cecil and Bubba tie in, they have their own great stories.
Todd Curless did an amazing job with the narration. I loved the different voices he did and really liked his ring announcer voice. He definitely breathed life into this story and made it a absolute blast to listen to.

Demon
Interesting considering I’m not a wrestling fan. It was different from West’s other book my favorite was Dreg (horror) as well as Cecil and Bubba book (funny). I still enjoyed it especially Tojo (demon), book has comedy and action. Only complaint is that West write longer book as he is good! This audiobook was given by the author, narrator, or publisher at no cost in exchange for an unbiased review via Audiobook Boom. Thank You!

Wrestling fans might like it better
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
Although it says wrestling in the subtitle, I had not expected that it would be the main focus. As a setting it works, but for me there was too much excited wrestling fan influence, including terms that mean nothing to someone who doesn't care for it. The story was entertaining enough.
What three words best describe Todd Curless’s voice?
Speak and Spell. At times he sounded like the 80s toy, very robotic.
Any additional comments?
