Summary

Love and hate are not opposites, but sometimes they’re born from the same fire....

Sean: Soldiers die, that’s just how it goes. It’s different when it’s one of your brothers. Team Maelstrom, my team, was broken when we lost one of our own. And now we have to sit around Stateside while the men in charge figure out what to do with us. When they find a replacement, I immediately know it’s not going to work. I can’t deal with this pain in the ass. I want him gone. It looks like I’m stuck with him, but I don’t have to make it easy....

Aidan: I didn’t ask for this. I don’t want this. I’ve been thrown into this dysfunctional team with a team leader who’s out to get me. The guy’s an ass, and he’s driving me crazy. I can hardly think straight when I’m dealing with him. Then everything changes when he pins me to a wall and kisses me....

Before Sean and Aidan can figure out what to do about that kiss, Team Maelstrom is thrown from the frying pan into the freezer. Fear and peril changes people, but will it change these two hot military men enough to keep the team alive? Can they work things out between them and get everyone back home in one piece? And what about the future?

Good book

Hot army guys, even hotter kisses, and scorching hot sex? Yes, please. A little angsty, which I love, so I definitely recommend.

Hot

Short enemy to lovers story. It angts or comedy, but hot as hell. The se*ual tension was off the charts with this one. I do think they spent a lot of time in their own heads and the blurb kind of spoiled part of the story (they went on a mission only after 40% of the book). The team itself and the army were... Well, unbelievable. It throw me off a little off, but I could suspend my disbelief and carry on enjoying the novel. What can I say about Michael Ferraiuolo... He is so amazing. It's difficult to find a voice actor who can do what he does. If a character is yawning, he yawns. If the character is laughing, he laughs. It's so perfect, I really love his narration.

Great enemy-to-lovers story and amazing narration

I had already read this story in ebook format, but the audio narration made the book even better: the tension between the main characters due to their 'I don' t want you here', and then the sexual tension feel even more real and very exciting. Amazing audio, I would definitely listen to it again. *This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.*

Trust Me, I Loved It

Romeo Alexander and John Harris created a great series to follow, can not wait for the rest of the series. Michael Ferraiuolo did an amazing job as always, nailed the voices for me. This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

Great story, great sex

Even though the story was short I really enjoyed it. I liked the characters and how they interacted. Honestly the only reason I didn’t give this 5 stars is the narration. I know it’s not everyone’s preference but I felt a deeper voice was need for the narration. Again just my opinion, I would still recommend this book for anyone looking for a m/m romance.

Good Story Great Narration

I enjoyed this story, it has a nice flow, interesting characters and just the right amount of angst. I liked Sean and Aidan, each with their own baggage causing genuine enemies to lovers situation and conflict. Narrator did an amazing job giving these guys voices and telling the story, his narration turned a good story into a perfect listening experience. I am going to listen to book one in the Men of Fort Dale series while waiting for the next book to be released.

Enemies to Lovers

This is the closest book to a true I hate you to I want you book I've read in a very long time. You actually have that "I really don't want you here I'm going to break you and make you leave" vibe for a lot of the first of the book. 10/10 will re-listen.

As with the 1st book I enjoyed the men of Fort Dale. These guys have sizzle and steam. The narrator just brings the books to life.

"So, you two are like, not a thing, but a thing?"

Would I listen to it again: yes Did the story keep me engaged: yes Was I invested in the characters: yes Story comment: good pace and likeable characters, the chemistry between Sean and Aidan is well written and they have an entertaining story with good banter. I liked that the guys are realistically portrayed as not being 100% OK with everything they have gone through. Narrator comment: I enjoyed Michael Ferraiuolo's narration and think he's done a good job narrating Trust Me, I Hate You. I had no problem distinguishing characters and the rhythm, inflections and intonations all worked to bring the book to life.
