Summary

Everyone worships. But Jesus tells us that God is seeking a particular kind of worshiper. In True Worshipers, a seasoned pastor and musician guides listeners toward a more engaging, transformative, and biblically faithful understanding of the worship God is seeking. True worship is an activity rooted in the grace of the Gospel that affects every area of our lives. And while worship is more than just singing, God's people gathering in his presence to lift their voices in song is an activity that is biblically based, historically rooted, and potentially life changing. Thoroughly based in scripture and filled with practical guidance, this audiobook connects Sunday worship to the rest of our lives - helping us live as true worshipers each and every day.

Great overview of the whole theme

Very good and insightful although I wish he'd used his experience to speak more fully and practically about the specific applications to the corporate gathering of the church.

Gospel-centered and practical guide for worshipers

I started to use the term "worship leader" in the review title, but this book is absolutely perfect for any worshiper and contains encouragement for all. I was humbled and brought to tears of joy in certain sections. I appreciate the time Bob Kauflin takes to explain the multiple aspects of worship from both the leader and congregational member's point of view. The final chapters had me excited for the time when we're worshiping in the presence of Jesus.

Giving Praise it's Meaning

Illuminating reading.
This book helped to Shift my paradigm of what/why I sing praise music in church.
