Really enjoyed this collection of short stories. The narrator had a really awesome voice.I would recommend this book to all those who are looking for inspiration

Lost a star rating as most were mountaineering stories which, on audiobook at length listening, were a little repetitive.
The narrator was spot on and I didn’t ‘drift off’ in thought like some other books, he was very good.
Overall, worth a listen. Good before an ultra or endurance event to prevent any thoughts of self pity.
Overall, an observation on “Dig in and Crack on” book.

I enjoyed this book - the narration was clear and engaging and the stories provided enough detail to make me grimace and laugh. I appreciated the 20 minute chapters which were a good length to dip into the book. Having said that, I would've preferred a different order to the stories - they were themed into sections such as wars, lost at sea, mountains, exploring Antarctica etc. I'd have preferred them ordered differently. But I did enjoy it and want to hear more stories of true grit!
