He deliberately attempts to hurt her after the funeral like a teenager rather than centuries old leader. He also seems to have forgotten their meeting. Who would forget rescuing her as she’s unique with their surprising interaction. Hardly a common name and he forgets all this?
The story was so different and had such potential but the ending made me sad. I enjoy these books for a warm fuzzy happily ever after and this is not that. As I say technically happy ending but at the same time just sad.
