Different story than what I’m used it and boy it didn’t disappoint. Love the narration as always from Aidan and Michelle. His voice wets panties I’m sure! 5* from me

The storyline was good and had so much potential. However, i wasn’t feeling the connection between the FMC and the MMC. The guy’s voice sounds very AI or robotic at times which didn’t help. I finished it as i really wanted for it to get better but if i’m honest i could have DNR’d it half way through

When I picked up 'Toxic,' I hoped for a gripping, emotionally charged read. The premise was intense and intriguing, and I was curious about Tessa and Gracin’s story. However, once I started reading, it became clear that it wouldn’t meet those expectations. The writing felt uneven, which I could have looked past if the characters themselves had been more fully realised.
I usually enjoy a balance between dialogue and inner reflection, but this book leaned far too heavily on internal monologue. The constant introspection slowed the pacing and made it difficult to stay engaged. I found myself craving more character interaction, more tension, more chemistry, more development between Tessa and Gracin. There were glimpses of emotional depth that hinted at what the story could have been, but those moments never fully bloomed.
Overall, it wasn’t a bad read, but it left me wanting more substance from both the characters and the plot.
Narration was great.

Loved this book , I would have loved the guys pov but honestly was good with here’s the narrator voice at the start was effy but I was drooling by the end

Pre-warning to all!! There’s no MMC POV. HOWEVER!!…yes, naturally that would put me off too, but don’t. Overall it’s a revenge story with smut, romance and more. It went down a rabbit hole I wasn’t expecting…AT ALL!! Yes, I wish there was MMC POV, (Adian Snow does a fantastic job btw, same as Michelle) but their duet kinda makes up for it. The FMC is sooo strong & I really REALLY feel for her, but she pulls through & comes bursting out of the ashes like a proud, respectable & amazing phoenix. If u enjoyed Adaline Riley rebirth, you’ll love hers.
