A deep need for many of us to believe.

This is a very quick overview of reports of alien abduction, similarities recorded and possible reasons of what is happening if such kidnappings are not, in fact, true (despite the obvious sincerity of many of those reporting the incidents). Obviously too brief to do more that touch on an occasional happening. The case both for and against alien visitation is given. The narration by James Wesling is very fast, a little demented, actually, but very clearly articulated so easy to understsnd. The delivery speed, however, does seem to suggest something to be quickly by passed, giving a slightly sarcastic backdrop to the report, resonating in the same way some of the 1950s S.F. B movies were advertised on the cinema - a quick spiel and visually screaming capital letter headlines Good fun to hear but very little additional revealed.

Interesting

Brief summary of potential reasons for alien abduction whether true or false. Narrator was good for this story.

That was a weird 30 minutes

I'm one of the people who does believe in aliens. I, myself did see something in the sky and it took off in a flash. As far as I know. I have never been abducted. But I do have these marks on my arms... After saying all that: this was a interesting book that someone could use if they have never heard about UFOs or if they are from another planet and wanted to know what happens on THIS planet. The narrator was all too happy to talk about UFOs and I liked his energy. He was really good to listen to. I suspect he is not of this planet. This book to me was what could have been a short presentation at the Mystics Fair that is held every year in my area when there isn't some pandemic trying to kill us all. I'm sure that Gary J. Green could make a fortune touring the planet talking about this.

If only there were More.

A story as a part of an anthology enjoyed it more, I have to say it was only OK. As soon as you get in to the whole alien van the story is over I don’t think that is the subject you can sum up in 29 minutes although it was interesting and I totally got into it by the time I did it was over so I guess my biggest complaint is it was just too short.

Not a book, more like a podcast

This is too short to be a reference book about aliens, and it's not really suppose to be funny. So for me this feels like a short summary (or an interesting podcast) about all maters related to alien abductions. It does reveal a bit of research and covers a lot of sub-subjects so it can be interesting for someone looking for fast information or a cool intro on the matter.
