Summary

Taking her is my right. Breaking her, my duty.

I was always going to choose Helena. I knew it the instant I saw her.

She’s different than the others. There’s a darkness about her. Something wild inside her. And it calls to the beast inside me.

But she isn’t what I expected. With every word and every touch, she pushes me, burrowing deep under my skin, challenging the rules, and upending history.

And all the while, I see how my brother watches her. He wants her, and as the rules stand, she’ll become his in one year’s time.

Except that I have no intention of giving her up.

Author's Note: Torn is the second and final audiobook of the Dark Legacy Duet.

Contains mature themes.

Fantastic finish to an amazing story

If I thought book 1 was hot, book 2 just blew me away! While book 1 focused more on the dark side of the romance, book 2 brought so much more to the storyline. It brought so much more depth to the characters and the story. While still keeping up with the darkly powerful sexual tension between all the characters. I really just loved every minute. Except maybe the end. It felt a little unfinished. Some important questions left unanswered. I don't know if there is more to this series but I really hope so!

book two - continuing Helena and Sebastian's story

Wow. I have no words. ... The conclusion to Helena and Sebastian's story just leaves me breathless. The narrators really nailed it. The writing is captivating and, all in all, this book is everything. Holy moly!!

Great ending!

Torn is the continuation of the Dark Legacy duet and we continue to get to know more about Helena's destiny and Sebastian controlling needs and ways.. a roller coaster of emotions not knowing how to feel and what to think.. these two really kept moving my feelings back and forward not knowing what was going to happen next ... Gregory character is also a very great secondary character that brings so much to the book and also to the relationship and story of Helena and Sebastian sometimes even getting in the middle but knowing Helena had another plans and feelings in her mind.. great conclusion of this Duet. I really enjoy all the suspense and the story of how evolved making us want more from these amazing characters..

The Narration by Michael Pauley and MacKenzie Cartwright gave so much to this story, bringing the characters more alive and giving them more depth making the story even more intriguing.. love how they both worked the characters emotions and behavior so well..

Phenomenal

This was a phenomenal read, as was the previous one. I was completely immersed in Helena and Sebastian's world. It's full of suspense and so very much steam. I loved that I had no idea what was happening next. Love this author and the narrators.

Reviewed for Audiobook Obsession

Torn the second book in duet is definitely darker than the first, with new twists and turns, still sitting on the edge of your seat, then we see the lies and deception come to light in a journal. Two selfless acts change the course of this Dark Legacy.
I don’t often talk of characters in my reviews, but I have to say Helena Willow gave as good as she got. I think she turned the tables on this family, brought light to the end of a dark tunnel.
Michael Pauley, Mackenzie Cartwright again outstanding performance in narration.

The second book of this Addictive Dark Legacy Romance!!

This story is very well written and narrated. It’s a very extremely dark romance. This book is full of twists, turns and suspense. This story will definitely grab your attention from the beginning of this second book in the story. The narrator’s do a great job with the characters, voices and their emotions.

book 2 I think was much more gripping then book 1 , the story progressed at a much quicker page but still left no details out , I loved the ending tho i did guess one thing that happened i didn't expect others that did , I hope we get more from this family one day especially sebastian's brothers
another great listen , narrators again were perfect for their roles

Holy hell!!

This was a great book! I couldn’t wait to listen to it after Taken! I love Helena! I love that she’s there not by her choice and still loves Sebastian. I didn’t like the sharing! And I TRULY hate Lucinda! But, over all I really loved the storyline and how it all played out!

The narration was good too! Michael Paulette and MacKenzie Cartwright did well!

Twists!!!

Torn by Natasha Knight did not disappoint. This intense listen if full of so many twists. I love it when I do not see something coming. Kudos to the author for keeping me on my toes. I listened to Taken the day before listening to this book, and loved being immersed in the story. Michael Pauly and MacKenzie Cartwright were magnificent bringing the characters to life. They really added the right emotions. Thank you Audiobook Obsession for this review copy audiobook, I loved it!

That was a roller coaster!

Man, this duet was crazy! Everything you could want in a dark book and still get your HEA at the end! I didn't know where this book was going to go and I loved the crazy ride it took me on! I am excited to read more of Natasha's books because I know she has more dark books.

As I mentioned for book 1, this is by no means a light read. I also don't think I would recommend this as your first dark book. Maybe after a few books, I would recommend. I would definitely start with something a lot lighter. Dark fans I really think will enjoy this book, but probably a lot of Natasha's books!

Wonderful Conclusion

#AudiobookObsession

Wonderful conclusion to this duet. I liked part 1 but part 2 I absolutely loved!!!! The narrators had my emotions in knots and did this story justice. I listened to this in one sitting and did not want to stop for anything. I want to read and listen to more by this author.

Great story

Ok, I think this audio book was great. Very intense characters and the narrators did an excellent job showing lots of deep emotions. The erotic scenes are off the charts in the heat factor and are not for the faint of heart. However, yes there is a however, the ending needs more depth and explanations. several loose ends . Too many un answered questions about other characters in the story. Important characters and it did not give an explanation what happened to them. What is going on here. If this was the complete ending, this is disappointing. I truly hope you have another book planned for Gregory and Amely. I loved Gregory's mysterious character.

One heck of a duet!

I don't even know what to say, this was a pretty freaking awesome duet. The author wrote an incredible tale, the narrators brought it to life, they made my heart race and held me at the edge of my seat... I think I forgot to breathe a few times.
Book 1, Taken, is definitely my favorite but, this one was really good.

Dark Duet

This is the second book in the Dark Legacy Duet. This one kicks the steam factor up a notch. It is scorching! You get the same Duel POV (Helena and Sebastian) But you also get a healthy dose of Gregory and he is one of my favorite characters from the series. I was excited to find out that he gets his own book.

I would recommend this for fans of Dark/taboo, MFM and romantic suspense

Great Book!

Torn is the second book in this series. The story between Sebastien, Helena, and Gregory is only becoming more and more complicated. I thought Taken was off the charts, but Torn completely blew me away! This story is full of twists and turns that I never saw coming. I can’t say enough how awesome this book; is all I could say is WOW! Once again the narrators Michael Pauley and Mackenzie Cartwright did an awesome job with this book! #AudiobookObsession

Amazing Finish!

This booked wrapped up Helena and Sebastians story nicely. I see more from them in side character books to come. I know that mind of Natasha's has things spinning for ways to make the Scafoni/Willow family "feud", "deal", or "deceit continue. You will not be disappointed in the conclusion to the first couple. Scafoni Family VS Willow Daughters

Torn (Dark Legacy Duet #2) takes place in this dark world that starts in Taken & continues in Torn where it takes control of your mind. Oodles of twists intricately weaved throughout the narrative. A web of truths and lies unraveling into a thrilling & suspenseful listen.

Narators Michael Pauley and MacKenzie Cartwright flawless performance brings mortal being into existence. Just the right dose of angst, passion, & voice. I love Michael's deep baritone voice which brought out Sebastian's fierce personality. MacKenzie brought out Helena's defiant, resolute personality.

I hope Twisted (Spinoff of Dark Legacy Duet) which follows Gregory Scafoni & Amelia Willow will be turned into a audiobook.

A very good story!

I really enjoyed this story. I was surprised that it wasn’t as angsty as I expected since it had been compared to the Indebted series by Pepper Winters but that being said it was a very good story and very erotic at times.
This book has an HEA but also some loose ends and unanswered questions. Which leaves me thinking there may be another book coming in this series even though it’s referred to as the final book.
Narration was amazing.
