With the wonderful Christian Fox and Teddy Hamilton narrating as Keaton and Luke respectively, how can this audio fail really...unless you didn't like the story to start with of course 😉. They were absolutely amazing with THE UNDERSTATEMENT OF THE YEAR, which remains one of my favourite audio books ever, so 5 stars for the audio even though it was a little slow to get going, just like the story was.

***Book Review***

4.25 stars from me. Nothing can compare to Him [💙💚💛🧡💜] which I suppose is a real shame for the authors, but I only liked this one as opposed to loved it. KH3 was an entitled brat [not nasty, just oblivious] but finally clued into that lightbulb moment 💡 that not everyone has Daddy's money to back them up, and Luke?? Well, he definitely needed a good smack occasionally...although in view of his absolutely dreadful family and the fact that he was as poor as a church mouse [mainly because of them sponging off him], I suppose I can understand that he would obviously have trust and relationship issues...especially when someone who'd never been with a guy before came calling...and then kept on wanting to call 😉. Oh, and btw I hated Judd...obnoxious prat!! 🤬🤬🤬!!

There were plenty of sexy times in this story, Keat discovered he had a submissive kink too and Luke?? Well, he discovered that he loved listening to Keat twittering on about sexy facts of nature and his proposed trip to Chile to find an undiscovered whale. Happy to say the party at the Hayworth house in the Hamptons made me tear up a little...the L word made its appearance, sighs.

Yet another great narration from these two...

At first it took a while to get into this, but then as the story picked up pace the majority of the book was really good. Until what felt like a very hurried and cliche end. It definitely could’ve done with more depth in the final chapters or maybe a second book showing how their lives are progressing.

This audio book was recommended to me by another author, and lets just say it's so far removed from what he writes, but when he told me it was his FAVOURITE audio book and one he'd listened to multiple times, my interest was piqued.

The fact there are two narrators is great, you really get to know the two characters better and nuances between them. I was confused about how this was going to work considering one of them had a G/F to start with, but the chemistry between SinnerThree and LobsterShorts was instant and sizzled through the audio, it was funny when you realise that in real life, they HATE each other, but they say you can't fight fate, and these two were fated to be together.

Loved how the relationship blossomed and they broke down each others barriers to bring us a sizzling story and showed us that you can find love right where you least expect it.

The book made me gasp and shout at times, and I really wanted to bash their heads together at some points, which shows the connection I had to these characters. Listening on the drive to and from work just didn't give me enough time with these two, and I ended up listening while cooking, cleaning, ironing, anything to get my fix.

My first book and audio book from these authors, and it won't be my last. Thanks for the rec JLT!

Loved, loved, loved. The whole package, the story, the writing, the characters, the humour, and most especially the narration. Teddy Hamilton was brilliant, as always, Christian Fox, I’m not too familiar with, but I’ve got to say I’ll be looking for more audio books that include him, he was fab. Not a lot I want to add really, the synopsis says it all, Keaton, rich, entitled, not closeted, just unaware, and Luke, completely in touch with his sexuality, cocky, and working to make ends meet. Two opposites who live in the same frat house, dislike each other immensely, yet happen upon each other on the same hookup app. They both find in each other something they didn’t realise they were looking for, that of course is before they realise they know each other. A full five stars from me.
