Connie has woken up in a psychiatric hospital. She's been accused of a terrible crime, but she says she can't remember a thing.

Forensic psychiatrist Dr Emma Robinson is assigned to the case. Her assessment will determine Connie's fate: prison, life in hospital - or freedom.

I loved this book. The storyline is harsh and could have been depressing but the book is full of humour and is brilliantly narrated, so at times it’s laugh out loud funny and ultimately uplifting. Definitely worth a credit and Connie is perhaps the best narration I’ve heard. Excellent!

Fantastic Book...And I’m VERY Picky!

This is a novel story (no pun intended). It’s essentially the account of one woman’s mental illness, her experiences and her actions. It’s very well written and quite compelling. As someone who worked in mental health services for decades, I can also say it is accurate. The ending was really satisfying. The narration was excellent.

Unusual, powerful story.
