Summary

The newest electrifying thriller in the best-selling Jack Ryan series.

A US Navy commander is attacked by an unidentified Russian man while having dinner with his wife.

A CIA operative travelling on a Canadian passport is intercepted and interrogated at Tehran Airport.

A team of FBI officers are arrested by Indonesian police for travelling under fake passports in Jakarta.

These apparently unrelated incidents point to a compromise in US government security, and Jack Ryan and his team must find out where it is coming from. From Maryland to Macedonia, they frantically battle shadowy forces who are looking to drag the US president into a ground war with ISIS.

Another great book by Mark Greaney

When Tom Clancy died I was so sad that the world he had built would die with him, but Toms long time partner Mark Greaney has continued to produce the most amazing and wonderful books in the Jack Ryan universes please don't stop Mark.

A thrilling story from start to finish with a good amount of Jack Ryan and jack Ryan Jn and it ends with a bang.

Again Thank you Mark and thank you Scott Brick for a great performance

What a read

One of the best, never read/listened to Tom Clancy before, but will defiantly read again. The book was heart stopping from start to finish with a credible story line that kept me hooked

Mark ticks the box every time

Has the brilliant and well balanced mix of military talk and specifics , international thriller, individual drama and lots of action and humour . Toms style lives on safe and well with Mark . I very much enjoyed this book . Only problem with it was I just finished it !

Very good,

I do miss Tom Clancy, but Mark Greaney makes such a great job you hardly notice. Great story look forward to Jack explaining to his sister what he does in the next book.

Excellent

One can always expect good work from Scott Brick but perhaps less so from the Tom Clancy ghost writer.
But this is the first Mark Greaney book I have been totally addicted to and can only congratulate him on what was an excellent piece of work.
I miss the real work of TC with the super long explanations. But this is a fast acting, gripping thriller with John Clarke who by now must be 120 years old.
A cracking listen.

Excellent

There is not better combination than Tom Clancy, Mark Greaney and Scott Brick!
The threats come from all over the globe and Mark Greaney keeps you guessing all the way.
I love Jack Ryan and Mark Greaney keeps you on the edge of your seat all the way

Most exiting one in a while

Having read the previouse5 books in the series I can say this one is a cracker. Edge of your seat stuff, nearly all the time. The action got going nearly from the word go and not toward the middle/end of the book.

In a sense there are multiple story lines all with its own action and intrigue.
