About this listen

After a serious head injury at the age of Nine, the author died during a coma and while surrounded by light, he was told he had things to do and was sent back to his life.

Later as a teenager in the British armed forces he was part of a confirmed close encounter at sea between a UFO, a warship and two jet fighters. Whilst on the bridge of that warship he received personal communication with the occupants of the unidentified craft.

Then, to cap it all, in his late teens he had an encounter with an old hooded monk who was searching the carriages for him on a night train and told him he had important things to do when older, which he later understood was to write this book. When the train stopped at my station, he and the monk parted with a handshake that forever changed the authors life.

Altogether opening up a channel to information that has drip-fed into his head for the last forty years, and all for the purpose of writing this book. A book that potentially contains the answers to most of the important questions you’ve probably ever asked yourself, on subjects such as:
Life after Death, Pyramids and Stone circle systems, The Meaning of Life, Aliens, Angels, Time travel, UFOs, Past Lives, Soul mates, Telepathy, Natural healing, God, Mythology, The Evolution of the Soul, The real Satan, Armageddon, The future, Our true past and on and on.

As a non religious 26 year old man in this current climate of being afraid to say how you feel in fear of persecution. I feel it is vital that we get the younger generation thinking less about what words have what meaning and who’s offended by what and begin to draw their focus towards higher questions about our state of being. I believe this book could be the answer to a lot of young peoples anxiety towards life, and gaining a greater understanding of what is happening in the universe without the negative connotations of religion is more important now then ever. This really is the 21st century’s 1984. We don’t have a Great War to focus our attention on, only a culture war that is more powerful online than it is in day to day life. I truly feel that reading and understating the writings in Told will give people not only a comfort in understanding that there is a greater plan for us all, but also to give the people drive and focus towards a positive goal of becoming a more intellectual, forgiving and kind person that will inevitably create a better society for future generations to come. Some of the chapters in this book could save our society and bring us all together as one unified culture. It more than a worth the read and should be brought in to the psyche of our society.

Such an honest view on how the world and the universe beyond works and how to save our society

I found every part of it absolutely fascinating.
The author does the narration which made it even more raw, authentic and real for me.
Finally deeper life questions getting explained in a logical modern way, that make sense in these times.
Everyone should definitely listen to this book.

What staggered me about this book was how close it was to my own beliefs! How do we have so many thoughts in common without there being some substance to it. There was me thinking that I was the only odd one in the world! Brilliant! Just off to listen to it again!

Made me think!

TOLD is a quiet, introspective book that invites readers to step away from surface-level distractions and ask deeper questions. What makes TOLD truly memorable are the experiences John recounts, which are profound, strange, and deeply personal. From a vivid near-death encounter at age nine to a mysterious UFO sighting during military service, each story is told without exaggeration. A powerful story describes meeting a monk on a nearly empty train, a quiet figure who seemed to know him already. Dreams that warned of danger, one of which saved his son's life, are included. These stories are presented plainly without drama, and their honesty makes them feel real. The book touches on these experiences and the presence of a deeper intelligence guiding certain moments in life, presented not as extraordinary but as natural extensions of a larger truth about who we are. A book that’s well worth the read.
