3,5🌟 It was good. The mystery was engaging, their romance was a slow-burn with some tension and, eventually, premarital spicy (how scandalous).
liked her personality, his not so much.

This is a story about love, passion and intrigue. It’s supposed to be exciting, the story itself is. Unfortunately it was let down in narration. The most passionate scenes were read like the narrator was reading a telephone book. I’ve never heard anything so passionless and the hero was made to sound awful, I don’t know what the accent was supposed to be but it was disastrous for the flow of the story. Such a shame.

Good story, terrible narration
