As a fellow PTSD-sufferer, I can’t help but feeling deeply connected to the FMC, Unlike the majority of FMCs out there, she is written with nuance, limitations and a great yet breakable spirit. This is a dark story that’s truly captivating with an excruciating slow burn. Excellent writing. I love it and I love the characters with all their glorious imperfections. My Roman Empire 💔🔥. Unfortunately, the wait for the next book is also an excruciatingly slow burn (I get that ”When the moon hatched” got popular, it might get prioritised but this is pure magic. I loved Moon, sure, but this is just in a league of its own). Read it, I dare you!

I started this series with mixed hopes but I had a big project to complete that needed a good long series to work to and this fit the bill. The writing is really quite beautiful and this story out of all them, really hits you in the heart. ORlaiths journey, her self hatred, the mutual acceptance of the shadow selves, it’s a beautiful story of redemption and coming home
But honestly when is the next one coming because if nothing else Sarah Parker you know how to write a cliff hanger!!! LOVED this one out of Al three so so
