About this listen
Welcome back to Redwood University, where nothing is as it seems…and I’m stronger than anyone expects.
My nineteenth birthday awakened something within me, revealing truths I could've never imagined. My new powers do not come without risk, though, and the future of shifters everywhere rests upon my shoulders.
As my mate is preparing to challenge his father, the evil alpha proves he has a few tricks up his sleeve that could destroy the entire supernatural community.
It’s a fight for our lives, but as Alexei and I have learned, we are stronger together. If Alpha Jones wants to steal our fate, then we’ll band together and take him down.
Because no one is going to deny us our happily ever after.
To Claim a Mate is the third and final book in the Redwood University Trilogy. It is not a standalone. If possessive heroes who occasionally turn into wolves and sassy, headstrong heroines are your jam, you’ve come to the right place. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the conclusion of this exciting paranormal story.
©2023 Poppy Ireland (P)2023 Podium AudioA book about fighting to love and be yourself, no matter how the politics and world feel about them. Action, strategy, a lot of steam, and funny Cobin antics. As well as the banter and fun antics of the growing found family. The aunts, Maze, Syrius, Cobin, June...the antics the TMI the cringe nicknames.
I liked the added depth we get from the POVs of more side characters. Also, I have read many shifter books, but I felt rightly schooled on wolf shifters' politics and how difficult it can be to stay alive when your Alpha is power crazy and happy to kill with a click. It refreshed why the choices made had to be made. Although there is still no excuse for the way Alexis went about it, it's easier to understand why he's been forgiven, especially when a bond can feel so complete when nurtured. My opinion on a fictional world and its politics, it's not real! Although it would be an intriguing world to live in...I would want to be a witch and shifter, but luck out and have the best of both species...wait not real!
One gripe I have is the male narrator, he has a habit of making everyone's tone sound like they are distant and stand offish...like a question whine type tone. Sometimes he reminded me of the voices who announced the fighters in boxing matches...over the top highs and lows... I can't explain it but it can be off putting given how fluid the female narrators voices...anyway it's not bad enough to ruin it.
Book ends in with many HEAs, all tied in a cute bow.
Yup, glad I read this series...still hoping Maze bites Alexis one day 😏🤫

its been very boring and im annoyed I wasted a credit. I dont understand how the first 2 books could be good and the final book be so bad. literally nothing happens apart from them waiting to go to war.
disappointed
