From the very begining , the characters in this story are incredibly irritating , it's like it's been written by and for teenagers , about characters supposed to be adults who behave like teenagers. Even more frustrating because the story parts about time travel are interesting, just the rest is an absolute cringing grind.
(I've actually checked both the audiobook and the kindle version, I don't see anything that says this is YA, although apparently the author is a YA writer. it really should specify whether it is or not. if it is YA then I guess my review would be a more positive one, although I probably wouldn't have purchased it).
