Summary

Danielle Clayton is back in her old stomping grounds after years of avoiding the man she had to leave behind. She's determined to make Saratoga her home again, but when she sets eyes on her snarly, sexy ex, it's clear her feelings for him haven't cooled at all in the years she's been away. He kept too many secrets the first time around, but Denison has changed. Maybe this time he'll open up and allow her into his life.

Country crooner, tatted-up bad boy and grizzly bear shifter, Denison Beck, has been burned by love. He chose a human mate at the tender age of 21, but she left him high and dry with no explanation why. After four years of nursing a vow to never let a woman get close to him again, his ex blows into town and stirs up emotions he hasn't felt in a long time. When forces beyond their control thrust them together, he'll have to decide whether to trust her with his heart again or let her go. But if Danielle finds out what is really lurking in his past, it could put her life in danger, as well as that of his crew of lumberjack werebears.

Content Warning: explicit love scenes, naughty language, and piles of sexy shifter secrets.

Adult only bear shifter romance.

She broke his heart...

(Note the 5 stars as you read this opening) The normal thing I don’t like in books is the kind of heartbreak that shatters a person just to hear about it. As this opened I thought “I can’t deal with broken hearts today, y’all” but it was just amazing. It’s such a short story that I knew that it would be resolved quickly and effortlessly, and it was.

Danielle left. Dennison was broken. Danielle was broken. Danielle returns a few years later. Cue huge misunderstanding. Misunderstanding repaired. Move on with cute love story. This is pretty much the first 30 minutes or so. Making the story easy to move through.

Mackenzie Harte, great job as always. Truly talented narrator.

Really enjoyed all aspects of this storyline. Ms Joyce creates interesting characters, just wished the stories were longer. Great narration by Ms Harte.

Will Denison trust Danielle enough with his secrets?

Timberman Werebear is the third book in the Saw Bears series. Danielle is back in Saratoga, and when she runs into her ex, all of the feelings and angst are stirred back up again. Denison knows that Danielle is his, but he can’t trust her enough to fully open up about all of his secrets. But just as love and trust creeps back in again, his past threatens everything that they love. Can they keep each other safe?

Ohhh this one is a great addition! I love Danielle and Denison! I love knowing that they had a past, but now we get to see what happens when a mate runs off. There’s a lot of miscommunication and misunderstanding between Danielle and Denison that they need to work through, but I loved them together and loved that they both were able to provide comfort, support, and love when needed. Danielle is one who runs away from things she doesn’t feel comfortable with, but when she finds something to fight for, you better watch out! Denison is that man for her, one who will protect others before himself, one who is willing to have some fun, and has only risen from the ashes of his past. I love the drama with Matt, I love the drama with Denison’s past, and I love their reconnection, and I love the ending! Ms. Harte did a great job narrating this romance, and I really enjoyed all of the emotion that she adds to the characters. This was a great shifter romance and I’m excited to listen to more!

Don't miss!

For a while I thought that this was going to be rather disappointing, but then it was as if I could watch it get steadily better all the way to fantastic. I don't know how to comment on the plot without getting all spoiler, so just let the publisher's blurb give you those clues and enjoy this roller coaster ride.
Mackenzie Harte continues to add a lot with her narration!
