Summary

From Wall Street Journal and USA Today best-selling author M. Robinson comes a rock-star contemporary romance filled with angst and all the feels.

Once upon a time...there was a little girl who believed in fairy tales and happily ever afters.

Hoping. Praying. Waiting...for her prince to come. Together they’d conquer the world. Slaying dragons, demons, and villains.

Until her Prince Charming let his demons prevail.

She cried and begged and prayed. She hated him. She loved him. She couldn’t save him.

“I’m sorry.”

“I love you.”

Those were five words she despised more than anything.

Her fairy tale had become her worst nightmare. She didn’t know how much more she could take. She didn’t know love could turn into hate. There were so many things she didn’t know. Especially how to tell him “No”.

What a wild ride of emotions

I have enjoyed part 2 as much as I enjoyed part one. The torrent of emotions has left me exhausted. Cash and Journeys. story is epic. Be prepared when you venture in for times you are hating and then loving Cash. Amazing xx

book 2

really enjoyed the way this book was narrated and wish all books were done the same way, it was narrated well too. this was a good duet. it deals with addiction and how it effects the sufferer and those close to them and how forgiveness is hard but necessary in order to heal.

Such a tragic yet beautiful story. Loved it!

I just love how M. Robinson gives you the complete story behind her characters getting you hooked right away. This was a beautiful story of pain, guilt, pride leading to addiction, coming full circle and finding love. It was simply poetic and beautiful.😍

Marcio Catalano, I absolutely love love his voice, did an outstanding job as Cash as well as Addison as Journey. M. Johnson never disappoints and you will love this one as well.

Raw & gritty & so satisfying

Picking up where book 1 ends, we get to follow Cash and Journey on their turbulent road. M Robinson has woven an emotional story and each time I thought I knew what would happen, she threw another curve into it. Journey is the kind of woman you want in your corner. Mature for her age, with her own secrets, she is the calming force. Cash is so complex, not your run of the mill rock star and each layer shows another damaged piece that has led to his addiction and need to distance himself. It's raw and gritty, with hitting rock bottom and the courage to climb up. I loved the story, the characters, the music, the journals, the passion and healing. It's a fantastic duet in true M. Robinson style.

The duet continues its fantastic narration by Marcio Catalano, Addison Barnes, Troy Duran. A better cast could not have been chosen for this performance. Catalano peeled each layer of Cash, adding the so many emotional nuances. I could feel his frustration and depression, and then turn to passion and healing. Barnes becomes Journey, her voice having that sound of comfort and help, and at times pain and frustration. Together these two held my heart in their performance. Add in the band with the sound of Troy Duran, and it's pure perfection.

Whoa!

I have followed M.Robinson since she started. I love her stories. But this book.... this book took me for a loop! I don't read what her stories are about because I know I'm going to enjoy them regardless, but I had no idea this would bring addiction AND recovery into it. Being in recovery myself it hit home tenfold! Thank you again for another awesome story!
