TIES THAT BIND

When a freelance photographer stumbles across a dead body, she is plunged into a homicide investigation and is brought closer to her uncle and aunt, the only family she has. To a handsome police detective who holds her life in his hands. To a suspect who holds her heart. And to a killer who is closer than she knows—in this spellbinding thriller by a masterful new storyteller.

This is an interesting story but I thought it a little long, A great start and finish but the middle was a bit long winded and I found myself struggling to concentrate. The "mystery" theme was spoilt by too many obvious red herrings which only convinced me of my own idea of who-ddunnit. It was worth finishing and I'd recommend it for a light enough murder mystery. Cathi Colas did a great job of the narration and brought life to the story.
I was kindly given a copy of the book and leave this honest review.
