About this listen

Thursdays aren't simply another day of the week for Amy Spencer and Ellis Hall. Thursday afternoons sizzle with no-strings sex for the two women, who meet each week in a hotel room to forget their past - and their present.

The arrangement works perfectly for Amy, a busy surgeon who's still smarting from a failed relationship. For Ellis, Thursday afternoons act as a pressure valve from her cutthroat job and the mistakes in her personal life she's trying to rectify.

But soon the pair discover that their outside worlds are on a collision course with the carefully constructed world they've created on Thursday afternoons.

What will happen when they discover the truth about each other?

Will their weekly assignations come to a screeching halt, or will they turn into something much, much more?

I love Abby Craden's voice. She's by far my favourite narrator. I love how this book goes straight into the story. Its not just a sexy book its also a great love story. This story reminds you that different roads lead to love.

I really enjoyed the journey of the characters in this novel. The baggage that each of the main character was well told as was their road to recovery. The narration only added to the great story.

This slow burner into the lives of a surgeon and a auditor has you gripped from the start. It explores all areas of both occupations, past lives, hopes and dreams and a future happiness. You hear about a wayward teen who just wanted love and honesty, once gotten she turns her life round
I’m hoping there will be a follow on

Great storyline, and characters kept me hooked all the way through. The title slightly put me off reading this, as I thought it sounded a bit boring but I was so wrong. Glad to have been persuaded to explore this by the other reviewers -AND also by the knowledge of narration by Abbey Craden. Favourite so far by Tracey Richardson.

Highly recommend

I enjoyed the emotional slow burn of this story. Ellis and Amy’s initial no strings hook up builds in to something beautiful but can it work between them?

Engaging and sexy
