Persephone Black has done it once again. Fantastic story. Loved revisiting old characters and new.Full of the usual suspense and sex scenes to make your eyes water. Again, I had a few tears and I'm always rooting for the bad girls. To top it all off, the narration was spot on. Thank you Persephone.

This is another fantastic mafia story stemming from the Mafia Queen and it's brilliant, captivating and so very clever. Loyalty and sacrifice are expected from the syndicate and they don't kill the innocent, but they are being hunted. 💥
I can't wait for the next instalment. 💗

I can't wait for the sequel, this is a great addition to 'The Underworld Duet' and to a lesser extent 'The Bianchi Family Duet' !
I have not given this 5 stars all round for several reasons 1) Lissa has had a personality change which is hard to reconcile)!
2) Aurora is now depicted as an 'airhead' ! 3) Alli Shae overdoes her signature 'grit my teeth and breath in' style of narration (hard to say cos I rate AS )! There is a cliffhanger of sorts which seems to be PB's style so prepare to wait for the answer.
I know we have to suspend belief with PB books but that's what we want in our books/audiobooks fiction !

one organisation trying to wipe out another, but the top two assassins find an irresistible connection that threatens the balance of both sides. really good story but found the narration not quite matching. definitely buy no.2 though.
