Alyssa’s portrayal of Scout was spot on, she was easy listening and made her character deeply relatable. Her emotional depth was perfect, she hit the nail right on the head with her powerful performance. You could feel the emotions coming through in her tone, it made for a compelling listen, especially during the thrilling parts! Her reading style really brought the text to life. I’ll be seeking out more of her work, that’s for sure!
Anthony was the perfect choice for the role of Apollo. He was everything I’d imagined and more. His emotional depth was staggering. His voice was smooth and such a pleasure to listen to. His chapters flowed so well it was over before I knew it. He absolutely nailed the narration with his reading style, he had the text jumping out of the pages. I’ve listened to a few of Anthony’s narrations now and this is my favourite.
These two gave such emotional performances and provided us with a truly enjoyable listening experience.
