Summary

Discover how to activate your creative mind.

What does it mean to be limited to inside the box, as opposed to being outside?

The key, according to experts on the subject, is to apply creative thinking to your daily life. Perhaps up until this time, you've never really thought yourself a creative person. Many of us go through life thinking that the only people capable of creative thought are artists, writers, and others who have been trained to apply this thought process in specific and sporadic circumstances. The truth of the matter is that every single one of us is capable of this type of thought. We've just allowed it to lie fallow, unused. When anything lies unused for so long, it may be difficult to stimulate it back to life.

This book can help you seek out answers to your everyday problems easier. You don't need to be an artist, a business executive, or even a physicist or scientist to employ this immensely insightful thought process.

Learn the two types of thinking that will improve your problem solving skill.

You'll discover and learn how to implement the two types of thinking skill that you should be using everyday: critical and lateral - or out of the box thinking.

Far too often, we listen to the constraints of the outside world, the social standards of society, and fail to use all of our resources to change even the smallest of circumstances in our lives. Now is the time to tackle problems in your life, from lack of space to starting a new career on a small budget or even relative-ship problems.

What this book proposes at surface level may not appear to make an impact on your life. As you listen, though, you'll begin to understand how changing the way you view your circumstances can change how you approach all problems in your everyday life.

It is a straight-forward guide book.

Lots of ideas here! It’s teaching me the strategies on how to look at problems in a unique and positive perspective. I must admit that this is something I’m very poor at and right after I listened to the book, I’m still having second thoughts if I will be able to do it. Nevertheless, having a straight-forward guide like this increases my confidence.

To a healthy lifestyle.

The illustrative examples led me to thinking. I have experienced many times the negative impact on being trapped with my negative emotions. Cheers to a healthy adaptation.

What a thorough audio book here.

One of the things I like about this is that, the tips are not only fit for one type of problem, but for a wide range of difficulties as well. I also like the consistency and the thoroughness of the book. Makes learning easier than ever!

Quite a resounding audiobook here.

Yep, nobody would like to be compressed in a box, congestion is the result! So as this book has suggested, thinking broadly, wisely, and creatively and this exactly tells you how to do it the right way!

Big thanks to this enlightening piece.

It's true that we should not limit our thinking to inside the box but to expand it to thinking outside the box. It's best to look at our circumstances at different perspectives. I just can’t thank this piece enough for opening my eyes to this fact and embracing it.

Very Middle of the Road

I somewhat regret paying for this. It might be because this is geared towards an older audience, or because it relied on the listener having the ability to take a multiple choice test audibly, or because of the occassionaly awkward prose. I can't recommend this book.

Thumbs up to this!

One of the first, and still one of the best, lateral thinking audio book on the creative process. It’s true. When solving a problem, it doesn’t have to be stress-filled one.

Not vertically, but laterally.

The idea is, most of us think vertically. Thanks for enlightening me about the power of thinking laterally. It has stimulated my mind in new and exciting ways.

It's one of the valuable ones I have.

The audio guide that allows readers to move past a "vertical" method of thought to tap the capability of parallel reasoning. I’d say it’s one of the practical books I have since I had my audible.

Pretty unique I must say.

It’s through this audio guide that I realized horizontal reasoning will regularly prompt issues that you never realized you had, or it will take care of basic issues that have an enormous potential.

I don’t have time to ponder on it, but I got it just the same as I may need it in the future.
