About this listen

When it comes to stealing from mafia men, there are three rules.

Don't get caught. Don't be seen. And most of all—don't fall in love with them.

After being hired to steal a painting, I find myself ensnared.

Damon, Minos, and Aaecus are monsters, and they only want one thing: Me.

Seven days of sin in exchange for freedom from the Three Fates Mafia. If only it were that easy.

The strings of fate have bound the four of us together, and not even gods or monsters can keep us apart.

Thieves and Monsters is a why-choose monster mafia romance with spice and size difference. It is the first book in the Three Fates Mafia Series and can be enjoyed as a standalone.

Detailed story, well written characters with very individual personalities. Lots of banter and wit. I was hooked by chapter three.

Great listen, I thoroughly enjoyed this audiobook.

The story was okay but honestly I couldn't even focus on the sex scenes because the male narrator doing the other voices just had me in stitches. He managed to make Ashley sound like a pre teen with a serious nasal issue. But when he was narrating the normal male pov it was decent. This is why I prefer dual narration, so much smoother and you can actually focus on the story

The narration took me out.

Initially a bit of dub-con but mostly all consensual and even loving towards the end. I adore a multiples books, especially when the men are into each other as well as the woman so I felt this had real promise. However, most of sex scenes are basically for those with a beastiality fetish which I really don't have. I just about made it through most of the sex scenes by pretending they weren't in their full werewolf-like, furry state, just their "human form" but I've not been able to finish the last 25 mins which *spoiler alert* involves the three men combining into their single form of Cerberus which is an enormous three headed dog having s*x with a normal sized woman. I just can't, I have a few hard limits and it never even occured to me that this would need to one of them. It's a shame because it's not a bad book overall, sassy, strong female with greek mythical gods, demi-gods and monsters, with love affection, care and various mm, mf, mmm, mmmf combos, which should all make for a great book but werewolf-esk forms with a female... not so much. The female narrator was excellent, I really like her performance. I found the male narrator pretty irritating though, especially when he did the female voice, he made her sound whiny and annoying which was pretty grating. Overall, unless beastiality is your secret kink, listener beware with this one.

Needs more of a warning that "size difference"

Just kept getting irritating when repeating they were mafia bosses especially in naughty scenes. But otherwise good
