I'm not the biggest fan of flashbacks, usually I like my story to be set in one time but I thought the author did a great job using it to get us to learn more about the characters. excellent narration as always by Lori Prince, I hope here are more releases coming soon from this author 5/5

I loved the story and couldn't put the book down. having started reading books by this same author over and over after loving them I have noticed she uses repetitive phrases and terms in all her books which does take thr magic away. instead of kiss, she always says ghosted her lips for example. and there are so many more. but as a stand alone book with individual merit it is a lovely read and a great story just can't say we'll written at this point though I guess it is and it isn't. same phrasoilogy throughout all her books causing a problem for Me and I now have to stop reading her books due to this. still recommend tho. narrator as beilliant as ever.

Don't get put off by the book jacket on Audible or what seems to be, at the start of the story, yet another poor-little-rich-girl tale. It a nicely written romance which, apart from the occasional editorial oversight, hangs together well. Despite some angst in the storyline, this is not a heavy novel and leaves the reader/listener with a warm glow, just as a good romance should.
While this is not a rom-com, which is what Lori Prince's narrative talent is best suited to, her style is nevertheless well suited to the tone of this novel. As always, she brings the characters to life and differentiates well between each one. My only criticism is that, like virtually all American voice artists and actors, she makes absolutely no effort to even attempt a French pronunciation of French names and words, but this may be the fault of the American producer and the US centric production company.
