Don't give up the day job Mr Billingham.

You're writing deserves a more accomplished reader. The plot is strong and the relationship between the 3 main characters is as entertsining as ever.

Thorne and Tanner Together!

Pairing the two together is a master stroke they are like chalk and cheese which makes them so plausible but they are bound by ‘their little secret’ which gives the book’s title extra meaning.
Their is one plot device which would seem unlikely given safeguarding concerns but this fiction and so you can always suspend disbelief!
The book fairly rattles along and Billingham narrates his own work skilfully.
There is always something which is left as a loose end and there is no exception here.
I look forward to the next instalment in the ‘Two T’s’ canon

Tom Thorne rides again!

I enjoyed this latest Tom Thorne adventure, it had all the usual characters and some great interplay between Thorne and Phil Hendrix. I also didn't see the twist coming at the end which is unusual for me, I can usually spot them coming a mile off! This was perhaps not my absolute favourite of the series but I thoroughly enjoyed it and I love Mark Billingham's narration. I feel one of the previous reviewers may have been listening to a different book!

Page turning

Kept you listening for more.
Plot threatened much but was a little too predictable to set it apart from other books of a similar ilk.

childs play

A school child could have written better, very predictable and boring. what a let down, no effort put into story and characters very weak.
