About this listen
An Arizona suburb over-run by a long buried tribe.
A race to stop the dead from unleashing an ancient curse.
Two brothers keeping the apocalypse at bay, one job at a time.
The Zee Brothers: Curse of the Zombie Omelet is our action packed and hilarious introduction to Jonah, Judas & JJ, the lovable disaster prone trio, responsible for keeping the zombie apocalypse from becoming a reality.
Gruff and handsome, Jonah Zee, is the dominating, classic music loving leader, that calls the shots and keeps them coming.
Tobacco chewing, Judas Zee is the gun slinging, rock music loving goofball, that is slow to learn, but always has his big brother’s back.
And the hot and sassy JJ, is the heroine that captures the brother’s hearts and eyes, while doing her best to keep her dog, Xanadu, out of trouble.

Mr. Pembleton living in the Winter Oaks gated community has an infestation problem. Something is scratching in the crawl space under his home. Burt from Pestbegone takes a look and recommends he consult the squabblesome Zee brothers, Judas and Jona, to get it sorted out. This is a zombie book with a difference, think Zombie-type Ghostbusters. It is non stop comedic action as the couple, plus a young woman and her dog, Xanadu, battle ever increasing numbers of long dead tribal Indians on whose land the Winter Oaks community had been built. Funny throughout, it is sometimes laugh out loud hilarious.
The narration by Ian McEuen is great, with the brother's voices clearly differentiated as they bicker with each other, and all other characters, including JJ and her dog, are also instantly distinguishable. He paces his reading to keep up with the text (especially important in this story) and carries the excitement to the listener. Unusually, not only is the book introduced and concluded with music, at very select points music is also inserted into the body of the text as soundtrack - with great effect. This was provided by a group called Frostbite.
A funny book, a good narration, inovative ideas - and zombies. What's not to like? Thank you so much, Xodus, for the gift of this Audiobook. More please. I loved it.
