About this listen
Amsterdam is bursting at the seams and the police are out in force, struggling to manage the crowds. Brigadier Pieter Vos is on duty with his young assistant, Laura Bakker, when the first grenade hits. In the chaos a young girl wearing a pink jacket is kidnapped. But she isn't the daughter of an Amsterdam aristocrat as the terrorists first thought. What is the life of one immigrant child worth in the greater political game emerging?

What did you like most about The Wrong Girl?
It has a much better storyline than 'The Doll's House' but it just flowed on from the first book. The characters are really well realised and felt like old friends already.Who was your favorite character and why?
I know it's obvious but Pieter Vos is my favourite character. He is very intriguing and you really care about him. What does Saul Reichlin bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?
He is my equal favourite narrator and could not tell a story badly if he tried! Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
It was indeed! I actually went through it very quickly.Any additional comments?
I am looking forward to more in this Amsterdam series. I think David Hewson is on to a real winner here. I also like the setting as I know Amsterdam relatively well and I think he captures the atmosphere well.Even better than The Doll's House!

We are back with the Amsterdam police to solve a kidnapping. This book was less about the characters and lives of the police team and more the city and underclass of Amsterdam. A very good pacy story, which keeps you hooked. You can listen to this book in isolation but why miss out go listen to the first book in the series. I would recommend this book to anyone who like a crime story!
Another great story starring Amsterdam
