Rich characters, a story full of intrigue and a bond that couldn't be broken. Kept me hooked throughout . Great narration by Saul Reichlin.

Great story, great narration

I really enjoyed this. The characters are flawed and therefore more real and the plot kept me interested.

What did you like most about The Wrong Girl?

It has a much better storyline than 'The Doll's House' but it just flowed on from the first book. The characters are really well realised and felt like old friends already.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I know it's obvious but Pieter Vos is my favourite character. He is very intriguing and you really care about him.

What does Saul Reichlin bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

He is my equal favourite narrator and could not tell a story badly if he tried!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

It was indeed! I actually went through it very quickly.

Any additional comments?

I am looking forward to more in this Amsterdam series. I think David Hewson is on to a real winner here. I also like the setting as I know Amsterdam relatively well and I think he captures the atmosphere well.

Even better than The Doll's House!

This is a well-paced book with strong characters and a brilliant plot. It’s a sad reminder of some of the darker aspects of life but it is handled well and ultimately satisfying. I did get confused at times about who was who, but it was a really good story and I definitely recommend it. Great narration too!

A compelling listen!

2nd in the Peter Vos series.

We are back with the Amsterdam police to solve a kidnapping. This book was less about the characters and lives of the police team and more the city and underclass of Amsterdam. A very good pacy story, which keeps you hooked. You can listen to this book in isolation but why miss out go listen to the first book in the series. I would recommend this book to anyone who like a crime story!

Another great story starring Amsterdam
