Story
For Dr. David Beck, the loss was shattering. And every day for the past eight years, he has relived the horror of what happened. The gleaming lake. The pale moonlight. The piercing screams. The night his wife was taken. The last night he saw her alive. Everyone tells him it's time to move on, to forget the past once and for all. But for David Beck, there can be no closure. A message has appeared on his computer, a phrase only he and his dead wife know. Suddenly Beck is taunted with the impossible—that somewhere, somehow, Elizabeth is alive.

Classic Coben
Most Harlon Coben books are pretty much the same; similar plots, identikit characters. That doesn't stop them being highly entertaining though. This is a great example, and for the most part, a great reading performance (some of the female voices are a little... silly, bit y nothing that distracts from the story)

Worth a listen
I thought this book was good if I could give it a 3.58 I would as a review the storyline was okay. However the narration was a bit over the top dramatic I didn't believe the emotions that was in the narrators voice. I also felt that it was a bit disjointed in places so it took him a long time to get back to the courthouse. I also thought that the links between the dad and the daughter and the connection they had to the Internet and the words wasn't really that clear I listen to it I did enjoy it I would recommend listening to it

Compelling- highly recommend
I was gripped all the way to the end. The author was excellent, bringing the story to life.
I usually prefer British novels and narrators but tried this on the ‘included’ option. So glad I did or I would have missed out on a great experiences
I will look out for both this author and the narrator again. The quality of the narrator can make or break an audio book.

uuurrrggghhh...
I enjoyed the storyline development, characterisations, plot everything but ooohhh nnooo the nnaarraatoorrr, I've listened to lots of audio books narrated by Scot Brick and if it weren't for the authors skill and talents I would have asked for a refund, although I may change my mind and never listen to a Scot Brick narration ever again despite the lure of an excellent book.
