The most important thing to mention here is that this is the REAL version. The other version on Audible is a censored edition, even though unfortunately it fails to mention this.

The narration is great, also. It brings the story to life

A fantastical story, classic Dahl! Our only complaint is Miranda Richardsons accent of the Grand High Witch is so strong and her performance of the witch so extravagant that we struggle to understand the dialogue (particularly the 7 yr old!)

The story, being a classic, is wonderful. But the narrator made the High witch incomprehensible- it was not clear and too loud and pitchy for us to enjoy the story so we stopped listening.
