Summary

'The Wide, Wide Sea' is a Chaos Walking short story. Set before the Spackle War in a small fishing village by the sea, this is a heartbreaking tale of love and loyalty in a divided world. Best listened to immediately after The Ask and the Answer, it features familiar characters such as Mistress Coyle but gives a new perspective on the shocking events in the award-winning trilogy.

Wonderful story of pre-spackle war

Another short story from Ness set in new world giving context of the tensions leading up to the war between spackle and human.
A story about friendship, secrets, and the lengths an inter-specied friendship must go to in these times and this land to survive and live together.
It's only an hour long so it's a quick listen, and definitely worth it especially if you're craving more from the Chaos Walking trilogy.
