Summary
The Whole Truth by David Baldacci is a terrifying global thriller that delivers all the twists and turns, emotional drama, unforgettable characters and can't-stop-listening pacing that Baldacci fans expect – and still goes beyond anything he’s written before.
I NEED A WAR . . .
A powerful arms dealer
Nicolas Creel is a man on a mission. As the head of a major arms vendor, he is plotting a ruthless plan to supercharge his company’s profits by triggering a new cold war – and he won’t let anyone stand in his way.
An intelligence agent
Meet Shaw, a man with no first name: a shadow operative working for a multinational organization that seeks to keep the world safe from men like Creel.
An ambitious journalist
Desperate to rebuild her disgraced reputation and rise to the top of her profession, Katie James gets the break of a lifetime when she finds herself on the same path as the mysterious Shaw.
Drawn into stopping Creel’s terrifying plans, Shaw and James face a catastrophic threat that could change the world as we know it . . .

i hate the music in the background
i enjoy listening to baldacci novels the narrators are fantastic... but and its a big but .....musical nonsense in the background ruins the tension and makes it difficult to understand the narrator at times. if you have impaired hearing it must be nearly impossible to hear the storyline through the background noise. i would ask that an option of having sound effects or not might be a good thing ...i am sure that cannot be beyond the producers skill set...

Excellent plot, as usual, from the master storyteller. Want more of Shaw and Katie James

Good but way too gory
Very much doubt if any of the characters would have survived the violence which was just unnecessary and detracted from a good story
I also hate the repeated use of the word belly, but maybe that’s just me

another great work of fiction by David Baldacci, with a worrying possibility of being factual,.

Great story
Great story, great narration. As a character, Shaw is a cross between Puller and Robie. I can see where Baldacci was going with him. Shame he only appears in a few books.

shaw book
didn't hate it but didn't love it either. Shaw was a character i couldn't get. There wasn't anything about him i liked. his and katies pairing could of developed but more things jarred then fitted.

Another great action thriller from Baldacci
Another great thriller from Baldacci which I loved as he explores the power of "fake news".
Each of Baldacci books sets out to educate and and observe parts of life that we have the privilege to observe his depth of research on.
The performance is good, the rustic "I've smoked 100 cigarettes a day" voice gives kudos to the toughness main character. I would just say that sometimes I got confused which character was talking and had to really listen as sometimes the narrators tone between a man and a woman was fairly similar so had to pick it up by the dialogue. That aside the place was good and and the narrator gave a feel to the action that was required.
A great Yarn from a great author.
