Great story

It was an easy read, but some of the voices were a bit sickly. Well worth listening to though

A cosy read

While it may have been a little predictable, the story was a relaxing listen.
I enjoyed it immensely and not every book needs a mystery to keep one’s interest.
Being over sixty I was at first a little put off by the elderly sounding Gracie but I got used to it and I was pleasantly surprised by her story (no spoilers).

Lovely story

Started reading then got the audio which was a mistake for me. Predictable story spoiled by the narration.

Nice story but better to read than listen

This book is fine. You know what you’re going to get before you even start listening, However it does not have the charm or subtlety of The Saturday Morning Park Run which while slightly predictable too had more nods to mental health, work-life balance and the non-physical benefits of fitness. This story by contrast is entertaining enough but for me lacked the warm glow of the previous one. Perhaps the difference was that I read the first book and listened to this one? Who knows!

Would I read/listen to a third one? Yes. Probably.
