Can her heart be mended too?
Garland Fairford has it all - her dream job as a historical Costumier in London and handsome fiancée, Marco.
Whilst creating a replica of a dress worn by a Victorian actress, Garland, an orphan, meets a long-lost relative - Honey Fairford. Garland is delighted and intrigued to discover Honey is planning to open a wedding dress museum in Lancashire.
When Garland loses her fiancée and her job in the same week, she accepts Honey's offer to work at the museum. But building a new life for herself is put on hold when a ghost from her past, Thom, reappears.
As Garland repairs beautiful vintage wedding dresses for the museum, and her relationship with Thom, could this finally be the chance for her own happy-ever-after?

I loved it.....
I love Trisha Ashley and I'm only sorry that I have read all her books. Though listening to them performed is as good as re-reading them. I particularly love how her books are all interlinked so, on occasion, you actual get updates on your favourite characters in the novels that follow; and this book did not disappoint..... I really enjoyed the whole idea of the wedding dress museum and could picture something like that actually being a thing. The way the two stories ran parallel, that of Rosa-May, was also great fun, if not very sad. I know I've said it before but I'll say it again, I loved Trisha Ashley and may she write many many more.

Intriguing and enjoyable
Good story line, read really well and introducing enough characters to create a good story but not too many to get confusing. Appealing description of the setting …. Very much enjoyed.

loved it
I loved this book found through advertising on Facebook and was hooked from the first sample. I loved the way it told the two stories together the second being the first reading it. The characters were great and I loved the ending. Would recommend as a great listen or read but think the audio just brings the characters to life.

A minor and a major story
The beginning has one or two original ideas that gripped my imagination. The middle is a story with a real heart, brimming with interesting tales, about wedding dresses and the ladies who they were made for, within the main storyline and includes a heartwarming ending for the endearing main characters, including the cat. The minor storyline about the ancestors is a little gruesome at the very end. Good narrators which made it easy listening.

I really enjoy Trisha Ashleys book and this one is no excrption. Interesting chsracters and storylines.
There is no wedding repair shop but a museum with weddingdresses and very special stories connected to them.
