About this listen
Coach Bradford has a dirty little secret… and it’s not (just) me.
Jack Bradford is the oldest of the Bradford siblings, my best friend’s brother, and my son’s football coach. He’s six-two, dark hair, ocean-blue eyes, broad shoulders, and a square jaw that’s perpetually flexed. He’s a hero in our small town, and the gentle way he cares for his young daughter will melt your… everything.
I’ve done my best to show my interest, even walking down the aisle on his arm four times (in his younger siblings’ weddings). Everyone in Newhope ships us, but he always keeps me at arm’s length. I’d pretty much given up on landing this DILF, when an overbearing dad says my son is only QB-1 because I give the coach “special favors.” (I wish!) Then my ex-con ex-husband starts threatening us, and the walls break.
Coach Jack shows up at my door, sleeps on my couch, and his fight disappears. Being with him is beyond my wildest dreams. His secrets don’t scare me. He’s everything I’ve ever wanted… and more. Together, we’re a win, and at last I go from dirty little secret to dirty little wife.
(The Way We Win is a small-town, single dad, single mom, football romance with a HOT high school football coach, a sexy librarian, Friday night lights, ALL the Bradford fun, SPICE, and a touch of suspense. No cheating, no cliffhanger, and no third-act breakup.)

I really enjoyed both characters in this one. Ally is such a sweetheart, but she's carrying a lot of baggage and blame toward herself that she should have left behind a long time ago. Jack is gruff, protective, and just what Ally needs to look away from the past and to the future.
I enjoyed both the romantic moments and the suspense. Each character plays into these moments perfectly, and when everything is said and done and things resolve, the ending is so heartwarming. As a parent myself, I really enjoyed the added parts of how they were both single parents, trying to juggle their own stuff while trying to also do best by their children. It made the end all the more sweet, and I look forward to getting more teases and reveals for these characters as Tia puts out more books.
I listened to this one on audiobook and really enjoyed it. Both narrators did a great job and matched their characters so well. Willa Jaymes nailed that soft, airy voice that fit Ally so well, and Jason Clarke's gravelly voice was perfect for Jack. Their voices really captured this story and made me want to listen to more that they've read. Highly suggest giving this one a listen.
These two were so cute!

This time we're finding love for the oldest Bradford boy, Jack, who having watched all his brothers find love, it's about time we found someone special for our favourite football coach!
Especially as this is also the final book of the series.
Allie and Jack have had a connection for a while and we've watched them get involved in the previous books, so we've been patiently waiting to see how this was going to play out....
That tension has already been building ....and we were not disappointed!
I loved that we already had some background for these characters, so coming into this one, it was like coming home again.
But the addition of Allie's ex and past added the drama that Jack needed to push him over that road block that he had about committing to Allie.
And when the block was down, we get to see the real man behind the dad/coach front that is all we've seen of him so far.
These scenes get real spicy and oh how we've waited for this!
As ever, I was completely immersed in this read and sped through it so fast - sad when it ended and even moreso discovering that this is the last one.
I really need to organise the order and catch up on the books I've missed - then I'll get to re-live some of the happy memories.
This was finished off beautifully ....but, I'm wondering whether there might be a future spin off coming ?
great end to this brilliant series.
