Great story, reminiscent of a few earlier novels and yet fresh and new. Brilliant as always.

Return of the legend

This is another fast paced, just complicated enough plot that brings back characters that long time readers have come to love. the charatxer development and their centre place of the story is something Deaver does, in this series, better than anyone.

The Watchmaker is back, as tricky as ever and as smart as ever, with twists and turns throughout. Narration is good, ending is satisfying, fewer chapters cliffhangers than usual but ultimately an excellent book

Great story as always, but the audio felt very stilted and over produced - even with listening at .90 it still felt too fast and a lack of nuance or pacing when switching between characters

always enjoy a Deaver book as they're carefully plotted and keep you guessing all the time. A nice break away from the rigours of study.
