I absolutely loved this story and there are many twists and turns. My nerves felt as though they were quite literally jangling in some parts. I couldn't wait for the next chapter and lay awake until 01.45 to finish the last few chapters!
Mike is a particularly unsavoury character but I really warmed to the children.
One criticism would be that the roles of the male characters would have been better (in my opinion) read by men rather than Penelope Rawlins narrating all the male roles herself.
Overall, I absolutely loved it! On to the next of Miranda's novels. xx

Very good psychological thriller ,well written kept me on edge throughout and Penelope Rawlins made it all more entertaining. Gladly I have another 4 books narrated by her .

Honestly , I found myself wishing Hannah had been clocked on the head as well as her husband. Hannah was irritating, whined all the time and came across as generally annoying. Wouldn’t read another one of this authors books. Funny that all the men had the same voice !
