Summary

If you live for your family, would you die for your family?

The third novel in the compulsive Mitchells and O'Haras trilogy.

Life is looking bleak for Frankie Mitchell.

Not only has she lost custody of her two children to their sadistic father, gypsy Jed O'Hara, she is also pregnant and banged up in Holloway awaiting trial for attempted murder.

In Frankie's absence, her father, underworld boss Eddie Mitchell, is determined to get his own back. Eddie plans the O'Haras' demise slowly and precisely. But when he finds out a secret and learns the real reason why his daughter is in the slammer, all hell breaks loose.

Essex has never seen anything like the bloodbath that follows, but is either family capable of winning this long-running feud, or will they all become the victims of their past mistakes?

Brilliant

Fantastic. It’s edgy, fast moving, dramatic and at times funny. Jose’s character is so funny. I laughed out loud on many occasions. This is a must read book. Preferably read the three books in order. You will not regret it.

SO MANY QUESTIONS

I loved the whole series. I've listened to these books at every opportunity as I felt they were unputdownable (if that's even a word).
Yes there's "bad" language, yes there's violence, yes there are moments of utter madness and incredulity BUT this was equaled by moments of tenderness and love and mystery.

Also the characters like Eddie, Joycey, Stanley, Joey and Frankie who I personally felt had became like a family - I cared about them.

With equal measure I detested the O'Hara's but in a way they were victims of their own making.

But the end (no spoilers) left me with so many questions that I am begging the author for a fourth book to tie up all of those lose ends.

Wonderful would recommend this to anyone who love a drama tinged with larger than life characters that you'll either love or hate.

What a ride !!!

I absolutely loved this trilogy and was sorry to get to the end of the series.
It was funny, it was sad, it was violent , it was a wild ride of emotions.
Kimberley Chambers is a new author to me - but I will be looking out for other books.

Annie Aldington is a good narrator too - and a narrator often makes the book .
She brought the characters alive for me and added to my enjoyment of the story.

If I have any criticism of this last book - it did not end how I wanted it to end ! - I wanted more
I don't wanted to say too much , as don't want to spoil it for others readers.

Most unexpected

I have read and followed the Kimberley Chamber’s, O’Hara v Mitchell. The feud the violence and killing. I wasn’t expecting Joey will kill the villain. As my mum used to say. Beware of the quiet ones.
Well done Kimberley Chamber. I thoroughly enjoyed the ending.
