I like these books and I like the narration. I do think that the author should use more 'fartlighting' references in future books, it is an essential new be phrase for our times

Wonderful characters embellished with distinctive mannerisms and accents. The loving behaviours of the relationships warms you to the key characters, whilst the little quips and aspects of characterisations will keep you entertained and smiling. The solving of the murder was the cherry on top.

So glad to have stumbled on the Charity Shop Detective Agency ladies. They are smart, funny, clever and the stories are so engaging. The narrator is the icing on the cake, great all round! Hope there are more to come in this series.

I thoroughly enjoy this series. classic cosy crime, good characters, great stories, all brought to life by great narration. This book was my favourite in the series so far.

I loved the warm, corny humour that meanders through this who-done-it like a "drunk on a bicycle ". An amusing, well paced mystery solved by three old ladies plus one.
