Only a select few in the human world knew of the existence of the V-Unit, a small group of highly trained Marines - who happened to be vampires. And it would have stayed that way. DNF. It felt somewhat misogynistic from the beginning, but I had hoped that would resolve itself over the course of the book. I hoped the book overall would improve after the first chapters.
However, when one of the characters portrayed blatant Islamophobia that was clearly condoned I couldn't continue listening. I'm returning this one.
