captivating story line as expected from this author, the chemistry between Nathen and Skylar is off the charts and so hot it kept me riveted throughout the ups and downs of this plot. Definately a must read Lexi never fails to deliver I cant wait for the next in this series love all the books but my prferene is the audio the narators truely bring the story to life Shane East and Roxy Isles did a wonderfull job as always

The story was ok & the twist was out of left field, but overall I found the dialogue jarring & I just wasn’t invested in the characters. The curvy girl angle is a misnomer, because a UK size 16 can definitely find clothes in many stores in the UK & is not considered plus size. I found the narration to be disappointing. The male was OTT with dramatics in his narration of an “alpha male” & made me cringe (though I’ve listened to him in something else & really liked him). The female lead sounded like a child. As I said, an OK story but I’m not tempted to go into the rest of the series.

I enjoyed the dual narration of Shane East and Roxy Isles

Willow owns a bakery and it is struggling. Nathan her brothers best friend reappears after years in the military. He offers her help but in return she is to his wife.
Skylar is bright and full of light, Nathan is grumpy. For the sake of saving her business, she will pretend to be his wife. But it was never really pretending in the first place. Since she was young Willow has been in love with Nathan.

I really loooved this book, skylar is so well written i was laughing all the time with her monologues🍰 Obviously dual narattion is always better and those two were magnificent👏👏Don't let me even start on the plot twist. Yes,yes,yes. This is my second book from this series and so far i am loving this author💗💗💗
I just wish i could try a vanilla vjj and all of her sweets to be honest 😂😂🍰
