This isn't a love story.

It's a story about obsession.
Meredith McCall was once a respected New York City psychiatrist. But the night of the accident she lost everything: her husband, her reputation and almost her mind.

When she crosses paths with the man whom she shares the most tragic connection, Meredith can't help but follow him. How is Gabriel Wright doing so well when her life is in shambles?

Watching Gabriel from afar becomes a compulsion she just can't shake - her newest obsession. But when he walks into her office as a patient, seemingly unaware of who she is, she knows it crosses all ethical bounds to treat him. Yet, Meredith can't bring herself to turn him away...

Could delving into Gabriel's mind give her the answers that she needs? Or will their relationship set off a chain of events that she can no longer control?

An sizzling, addictive thriller from the No. 1 New York Times bestselling author - perfect for fans of Colleen Hoover's VERITY and Tarryn Fisher.

OMG the ending! What an eloquently written book. And perfectly narrated! Definitely not a love story...

Feeling totally unravelled!

An enjoyable listen, not an edge of your seat thriller, but an engaging plot and characters with a decent twist.

Engaging with a twist

The story is about Meredith, a psychiatrist, and how she is trying to wrap her head around a tragedy that has been caused by her husband, a tragedy that she also feels deeply responsible for. This is not a love story although the writer is very good at tricking us into thinking it is. This is a story of obsession and inner monologue and it is only towards the end (literally the last minute) that we fully grasp its magnitude. A superb storyteller. One of the best stories I've read/ listened to.

This is a story you won't want to end

Dual Narration by Courtney Patterson and Aiden Snow ( Aiden only narrates the epilogue)

I did enjoy this book it was easy to follow and had me shocked and confused many times throughout the book. I did kinda of predict the end but the author still managed to make it quite unique in her own way. The main character Meredith is quite interesting but I wanted to scream at her a lot!!! It isn't an edge of your seat type of thriller but it definitely has enough plot to keep you engaged.

Quite a good listen
