For those already familiar with spiritual works, Char's book may be a bit repetitive, but if you're new to the genre there's lots of great references to start your journey. There were a few helpful reminders but overall no real reliable meat for a profound personal experience - as a curious skeptic found myself moderately entertained and sometimes a bit annoyed at stuff that didn't feel true to me but it will be a personal choice! certainly may very well fall into a category of writing for an audience with a particular kind of privilege.
