This story tranverses from past to present and explains what goes wrong and the friendships between Kenzie,Lance,Easton and Brinley.So you become to understand their complicated relationship.
In the present day Kenzie is a podcaster and she is getting married into a wealthy family,and Lances enemy Will.The location of the wedding keeps getting leaked to the press.
So she decides to have her wedding in Lake Starlight Alaska,were she grew up with Lance.
Lance is successful and helps run the families hotel buisness with his grandfather,he doesn't live in lake Starlight but goes back and forth between there and New York.
Anyway things happen and it is Lance who ends up helping Kenzie organise the wedding.
Of course with the way things ended between Kenzie and Lance..Kenzie hasn't really spoken to Lance,Easton and Brinley for years.
So she feels out of place in Lake Starlight and although she is haunted by old ghosts of the past in town,she is determined to have her wedding there.
Her Fiance Will leaves everything to do with the wedding to Kenzie,and honestly if feels like a show wedding just for appearances and the press.
Alot of mistakes were made in the past and if they would have just had a conversation about it Kenzie and Lance would have probably been together.
So being together now has feelings that never went away surfacing once again,they love one another but they are both stubborn.
Even when Lance pours his heart out to Kenzie,she is still so stubborn and I was so frustrated !!..
Although the ending was worth all the exasperation..
The narration is performed by Aiden Snow and Emily Woo Zeller and they were so Amazing with the roles of Kenzie and Lance.
I really enjoyed listening to them and their talented acting skills,it was Brilliant.
The Trouble with Runaway brides is a wonderful romance,that is a perfect edition to this series.
I can't wait to listen to the next one.
