Really loved this book, so well written and one I didn’t want to put down. If I could give it six stars I would. Fabulous plot and would thoroughly recommend it.

I love Jo Spain’s books and particularly enjoyed The Last to Disappear in 2022 which was remarkable as it was set in Lapland and was highly original and informative about the cultural connections and differences with Ireland

I didn’t hesitate to immediately click on her latest book “The Trial” on Audible without even reading a review. Another triumph! This author is brilliant and The Trial is her best yet!

This time the setting is back in Ireland in the world of academia, medical research into Alzheimers and the search for a missing student. It’s set in two timelines 2014 and 2024. I could not put it down!

Highly recommend!!!!
