this book was about a seemingly normal family hit by tragedy but was in fact a convoluted series of events with little twists constantly changing its path until the unprepared for twist at the end. loved it. the performance was good too.

I found it very strange and it annoyed me all the way through the book, which then spoilt the story, that Jen, who had met a man once when she was very drunk/drugged and was raped by him, then let's him turn up at her house and demand to move in and live like a couple, and the only reason she felt she had to let him in was because she didn't want people to know what had happened between them! Very infuriating! I spent my whole time thinking "what the heck, as if'
