This isn't your typical gay-to-straight conversion story; this is messy, yet glorious.

  • Raw, authentic, and inspiring
  • A much-needed conversation for today
  • A true display of masculinity
  • Journey from brokenness to healing

In a time where the Church is confused and unsure of how to help those struggling with their sexual identity, Kyle Barr shares his very personal, lifelong journey. His undeniable experiences powerfully break the silence and shame that for so long have surrounded the topic of sexuality. Through his story, we see both struggle and victory, the stuff all our lives are made of.

Every pastor, teen, adult, and church member should read this and we all have a story to tell. Though our stories may have different characters and plot twists, at the core, it's all the same. All have been torn and all are searching. Everyone is in need of finding real love that's beyond anything of this world. Deep inside, all men and women want to unlock the fullness of who they are. This cannot be done alone. We all have longing which searches for an answer, for healing and wholeness.

The Touch That Transforms

Kyle took me deep into his soul with his story. In fact, I'm in the process of listening for the THIRD time! I plan to ask my church to obtain it for our church library. I agree that the church as a whole has no clue how to counsel in these matters, so mostly we judge. And we whisper. And it's not right! Thank you, Kyle, for sharing your journey with me, and thank God that nothing can separate us from the love of Christ!
