Summary

This early 20th-century translation of the Hebrew Bible by the Jewish Publication Society brings to life the history of the Jewish people in a classical way. It includes the Hebrew texts as they actually appear in the Torah scroll and bears all the hallmarks of a classic work.

Just what the doctor ordered!

This reading of the Torah excels in all the areas that truly matter. The narrator conveys the story with true emotion. She commands strong and accurate pronuncuation of Hebrew names. The rhythm of the Torah as she reads is perfectly timed. I am a very hard to please critic when it comes to the way this book is read. So many times I hear it being done without conviction and passion. Finally ..... an excellent job has been done here. Thank you. So much. God bless Shabbot Shalom. 😇
