Every man with a wandering eye should be made to read this book. Only the parent left behind silently observes the cutthroat cruelty of the missing partner. It takes two to make a baby for a very good reason, it takes two to bring up a decent human being. It's unfair for one parent to be the Mum and the Dad, while the other one swans around obliviously spreading their sperm. Lisa Jewell's masterclass in why men shouldn't be dickheads is one of her best.

Love the author's books but this wasn't one of my favourites. Narration was brilliant. Good understanding of the hurt divorce causes to children..

Really engaged me at first but started to drag towards the end.
